Dissolve away the impurities of the day with The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, a non-comedogenic and soap-free formula that changes from a balm-like texture to a clear-oil like consistency when rubbed between the fingers before application.
Using squalane and other lipophilic esters with gentle moisturising qualities, this cleanser works to dissolve makeup and impurities and also increases the spreadability of the product on the skin. Its texture-changing properties allow emulsifying sucrose esters to blend and trap dissolved facial impurities when using water to rinse.
This gentle formula has been specifically created for daily use. As it avoids over-drying the skin, The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser is suitable for all skin types.

I got recommeded this by Sisley Killam, the holistic acne nutritionist based in Vancouver (I am Canadian). I found this after years of searching for a good cleanser that would not dry or irritate my sensitive skin or mess with my skin barrier. The meddling factor was that all the good cleansers seem to break my very studently bank. This cleanser is an all-in-one with affordability! My skin does not feel stripped after using this cleanser, despite my dry skin. I have been using this cleanser for almost two years now, and I have no reason to change my choice. Curiousity may lead me to trying more expensive brands once I can let myself indulge, but for now, The Ordinary is my jam. I can't speak for the more expensive cleansers, like Tatcha and Youth to the People because I haven't tried them. What I do know is if you want a cleanser free of harsh chemicals that don't disrupt your skin barrier, I see this one as the best shot I have had for a cleanser that is ALSO affordable. I love that I can find it accessible in the "luxury" beauty/skincare stores -- Sephora in the US and Canada, and now SpaceNK in the UK! It makes it easier for me to buy it.

Great for travelling
I purchased a small tube of this, as recommended by a few friends to take on a mini break, to replace my favourite cleansing duo which isn’t in travel friendly packaging. I have to say I was very impressed, it was great at getting rid of my make up without leaving my face feeling striped or dry. It’s quite a thick gel when you first apply it but when you start massaging it into your face it transforms to an oil, when a splash of water is added it emulsifies and cleans your face efficiently either with or without a face cloth. I love it and will repurchase.

This product has quickly become my absolute favourite cleanser! It delivers incredible hydration without being heavy, and I’ve noticed my makeup comes right of after use. The refreshing scent is a bonus, and my face feels rejuvenated every time I use it!

Melts my makeup off
I really love this cleanser for so many reasons, firstly I think that the price is very very good compared to other cleansers on the market. It also works really well at removing my makeup as well as cleaning my face thoroughly. I would definitely recommend that you buy this product as I feel that it is great value for money.

Bring back the 240 ml
Love this cleanser so much! My 64 year old skin feels pampered. In my younger days, I might not have cared for it, but it's the only cleanser I use now. Last time got the 240 ml but when reordering the biggest container was a 150ml. I use this morning and night so if the 240 ml comes back, I'd definitely order it. I don't wear a lot of makeup and still have to use eye makeup remover when using this, so don't expect it to get off thick makeup. If you're a minimalist makeup gal, this product is very skin friendly. Love it!
