Good base, nice highlight
I have been using this for about a month and really like the glow it gives my skin. It looks lovely on its own or under foundation. I have quite sensitive skin, and this hasn't caused me to break out or have any adverse reaction. As I have dry skin, I would like to try the moisturising primer next.

Perfect make up base
I absolutely love how this give your skin that lit from within glow that makes you look so healthy. I have used this alone and as a make up base and love it for both. As I have slightly oily skin this didn’t hold on to my make up as much as other primers but make up applied flawlessly.

Nice primer
I was lucky enough to receive this primer to test . It’s a lovely texture and feels nice when it first goes on. I do have sensitive skin that is prone to breaking out also, but I am 46 so lack hydration and obviously have signs of aging! But as the day went on I did get a slightly itchy face and uncomfortable feeling. It’s something that gradually you get used to , but for this reason i would not purchase this product. I used under make up and had no problems with the make up application. It’s a lovely product but I wasn’t blown away by it.

Hydrating, subtle effect
The illuminating quality of this product is subtle and hydrating, creating a smooth finish for the foundation/tinted moisturiser of choice. It works well with other products, not just those from the rest of Laura Mercier’s range. Long lasting, and a little goes a long way too!

Lovely Texture Primer
I was sent this product for a honest review, and it’s great. I have very dry skin so have to layer skincare hard and often find primer dehydrating / too tacky but this isn’t, does the job and makeup stays put. It’s not super super glowy if that’s your thing (dry skin so maybe that’s me) but I mix in a little Vieve Skin Nova to add that back. £38 is pricey but a little does go a long way.
