Beautiful old fashioned rose fragrance. If you’re looking for a little bit of nostalgia whilst washing your hands or body, this is it! I prefer this as a hand wash. Beautiful non drying, hydrating formula and the rose fragrance lingers for a while on your hands or body.

Better as hand soap
I bought this on a whim as I needed a new body wash. However, I’ve now moved it to the sink to just use for hands. As a hand soap it works - it’s non-drying, and with quite a strong rose scent that lingers. This is why I pretty quickly stopped using it as a body wash; the smell is cloying, and slightly old-fashioned; reminds me of those sachets I used to put in drawers as a kid in the 80’s. Not a negative thing as it’s a familiar and nostalgic scent, just not for me. So for the body it’s a no, but definitely ok as hand wash!

The rose hand wash I recently tried left me feeling underwhelmed. While it's marketed as a luxurious and fragrant product, its performance was disappointingly average. The scent, touted as rose, lacked the depth and richness I expected, coming across as artificial and fleeting. Upon application, the lather was adequate but nothing remarkable, and it didn't leave my hands feeling notably softer or more moisturized. One of the key factors in evaluating a hand wash is its ability to effectively cleanse without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Unfortunately, this product fell short in that regard. While it did remove dirt and grime, I found it to be somewhat drying, especially with repeated use throughout the day. Additionally, the packaging, while aesthetically pleasing, seemed unnecessarily bulky and not very eco-friendly. In terms of value for money, this rose hand wash didn't quite measure up. Considering its average performance and lackluster scent, I would have expected a lower price point. While I appreciate the attempt to incorporate natural ingredients, such as rose extract, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was using a generic product rather than something special. Overall, I would describe this rose hand wash as functional but forgettable. It gets the job done, but without any standout features or benefits to justify its price. For those seeking a truly indulgent hand washing experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other options on the market that offer superior performance and a more satisfying sensory experience.

Overall fine
The texture is nice and it is a bit creamy when it lathers and also not drying which I appreciate. For the price it is nothing special and I wouldn’t say it is mind blowing. Also the smell is not fresh but like I left a rose soap in a drawer of socks for 3 years. Something like I visit grandma.
