I can only echo those who have felt nervous or unsure about wearing a red lipstick, a sometimes common issue for folk who don't want to highlight red in their skin tone, that this is probably the safest and easiest way to wear a red, ever! Applied with a brush it can be just a gentle wash of colour and not at all intimidating. A couple more coats and it becomes brighter so you can slowly build your coverage. Best bit? It's glossy and as I find the trend for mattes, especially in reds, to be a bit heavy looking this is the one for me.

This sheer lipstick is as moisturinsing as a lipbalm with a very natural reddish tint. It gives enough colour to make you feel like you have a little light lipsick on. Also, with repeated application a little stain effect happens so the colour builds subtly.

This is lovely, a universally flattering shade of red. Quite sheer (which is fine by me,) but can be layered up easily if you want something more dramatic.
