I have been using the same pressed powder for 20+ years and thought I would never stray but this is my new favourite. It goes on so smoothly and doesn't feel drying or pull on the under eye area which can sometimes look crepey when powdered. The coverage is flawless and matt and lasts the day without touch ups.The sponge is more substantial than other brands and its a joy to use. As with most Chantecaille products, the packaging is lovely, seems robust and is easy on the eye. It's worth investing a bit extra for this...

I absolutely love this powder foundation, I was expecting more coverage - as Paula Begoun states in her review it feels more like a pressed powder than a foundation but you can build it up. The real dreamy part of this product aside from its luxurius compact is the colour selection being gorgeous and the fact that this is the first ever powder product that I've been able to use a sponge with!! Other products are cakey and unnatural, look chalky and are drying but with this one it goes on and you just look polished - your skin but better.
I never finish things, but this compact will definitely be gone because i use it so often and it has become such an instant staple. For reference I'm pale - maybe NC15? I use Petal and it is imperceptible on my skin. Worth the money!!

I've used this since Chantecaille introduced it; it's THAT good. Petal is my shade and I have yet to find a color or product that compares. BTW, dry skin will love it.
