Baume de Rose
Personally Perfer Laura Mercier Lip Silk
This is a nice balm and it does very well for a friend of mine. Does it work? Yes. Is it luxurious? Yes. But, I do have to say that for the price point, it isn't much better than Laura Mercier Lip Silk, which I have been using for a couple of years to banish dry lips. It is worth a try. The multitasking abilities of Baume de Rose may be worth it for other users.

And where are the chocolates?
Now I have the perfect rose product, all I need are the chocolates. Although perfect for Valentine's Day, I have been unable to save this rose for special occasions.
This luxurious and silky balm is the perfect lip treat and always features in my beauty routine.
I just hope you're not as clumsy as me, as this glass jar has taken a tumble or two and is looking a little worse for wear.
Definitely worth arranging into your bouquet of beauty products.

Blinded by the Hype
I paid particular interest to the review which said this balm doesnt leave lips dry between applications. I beg to disagree. I applied at regular intervals on day one and so my lips stayed soft. Not plump, but Im not sure which ingredient would bring this about? As advised, I also put a thick layer on at bedtime and did indeed wake up with smoother lips. At least it stayed on. There again I dont drink tea or eat during sleep! However I found it wasnt wearable with lipstick (either as a base or on top). Lipstick just disappeared. I persevered however on its own because I actually wanted to fall for this brand! Alas I find my lips are just superficially smooth, and no healthier or hydrated ....Indeed when purposely left to wear off, they were actually very dry! The price is fine if a product delivers. For me, this really doesnt. A quick glance at the nail varnish shows me that this is double the price Emperors New Clothes???
