Great foundation for blemish minimisation

I've been a fan of Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser for years. Unfortunately I've found in recent months that it's not quite enough to even out my rosacea. So I decided to change to the Silk Creme foundation.
I'm so glad I did! The coverage in the Rose Ivory shade is a great match for my overall pale/reddish skin tone. You only need a small amount from the tube to give a light but even layer. I find a tiny squeeze on the back of the hand and then application with a foundation brush gives a great result. It does need blending quite quickly as the finish is more of a light powder feel than I'm used to.
I'd give five stars but it does have one drawback: for dryer skin it will begin to "settle" into fine lines after three or four hours. So either a primer before application or some touch up work is required to keep it at its best during the day.

This is the nicest foundation I have ever used. I have had extremely bad skin in past and am now left with a combination type skin- so have tried and test quite a few. This foundation has a great, long lasting coverage without being 'cakey'- it leaves you with a natural dewy complexion and can be applied just as well with brush, fingers or sponge. It also has a lovely fragrance. I highly recommend !!
